SECRETARY

Takes the minutes of every executive board and general membership meeting. Provides a copy of the minutes to the newsletter editor for inclusion into the newsletter. Maintains the official file archive of the district.

REGISTRAR

Keeps the current membership list, and registers voting members in attendance at each meeting as well as new members. Also serves as credentialing officer for the bi-annual district re-organization meetings.

KCDCC COMMITTEEMAN

Attends all meetings of the King County Democratic Central Committee and represent the interests of the 33rd District in voice and vote. Is the designated 33rd District liaisons to the Chair, staff, and elected members of the King County Democratic Central Committee. Reports on the activities of the King County Democratic Central Committee at each subsequent 33rd general meeting.

NEWSLETTER EDITOR

Edits and produces, using district funds, the official district newsletter, The DemoChat, each month in which a district meeting is called. At minimum, the newsletter includes the Official Call to the district meeting, the date, and the minutes of the last general district meeting. The Newsletter Editor is also responsible for encouraging additional submissions, particularly those which relate to local Democratic politics, and for coordinating the mailing of said newsletter to all voting members of the district.

Must have some skill with Microsoft Word or other word processing software, editing skills, ability to create PDFs (either owning the appropriate software or a owning a Mac), and Internet access.

WEBMASTER

Manages the website. Must have some skill with WordPress. Editing skills necessary. Minor html skill a plus but not necessary. Will include updating the website on a regular basis with news and information.

KING COUNTY LEGISLATIVE ACTION COMMITTEE, ALTERNATE

In the absence of either Legislative Action Committee Representatives, attends all meetings of the Legislative Action Committee and represent the interests of the 33rd District in voice and vote. Reports on the activities of the Legislative Action Committee at each subsequent 33rd general meeting.

YOUNG DEMOCRATS REP, FEMALE AND MALE

Attends all meetings of the Young Democrats of King County and represent the interests of the 33rd District in voice and vote. Is the designated 33rd District liaisons to the Chair, staff, and elected members of the Young Democrats of King County. Reports on the activities of the Young Democrats of King County at each subsequent 33rd general meeting. Works with the Vice-chair to encourage young democrat recruitment.
